Medshield Dispensing Fee Change

Dear Clients,

Medshield has changed their dispensing fee:

• Where the SEP of a scheduled medicine is less than R100 incl vat, the dispensing fee must not exceed 20% of the SEP.

• Where the SEP of a scheduled medicine is greater than R100 incl vat, the dispensing fee shall not exceed R20 (exclusive) and R23 (inclusive).

If your PMA utilizes the Medprax Calculation Table then this fee will automatically be updated by Medprax File.

Should your PMA not make use of the Medprax Calculation Table, please contact your software vendor to assist you to change this within your PMA.
